Currency Market Update: US Dollar Strengthens Against Iraqi Dinar

The US dollar strengthened against the Iraqi dinar on Monday in Baghdad, while it stabilized in Erbil, the capital of the Kurdistan Region. The stock exchange closed with the dollar trading at 152,450 Iraqi dinars per 100 dollars.
Agency correspondents reported that the dollar prices rose alongside the closure of the two main stock exchanges in Baghdad, Al-Kifah and Al-Harithiya. In local markets, selling prices for the dollar rose to 153,500 dinars per 100 dollars, while the purchase price was 151,500 dinars per 100 dollars.
In Erbil, the dollar remained stable, with the selling price at 151,900 dinars per 100 dollars and the buying price at 151,800 dinars per 100 dollars.
