Dollar rises in Baghdad, stabilizes in Erbil at closing

Currency Market Update: US⁣ Dollar Strengthens‌ Against⁣ Iraqi Dinar

The US dollar strengthened against the Iraqi dinar‌ on Monday in Baghdad, while it ⁤stabilized in Erbil, the capital of the Kurdistan Region. The stock exchange closed with the dollar trading at 152,450 Iraqi dinars per ‍100⁢ dollars.

Agency correspondents reported that the dollar prices rose alongside the closure of the two main stock exchanges in Baghdad, Al-Kifah and Al-Harithiya. In local ‍markets, selling prices ‍for the dollar rose to 153,500 dinars per 100 dollars,​ while the purchase price was‌ 151,500 ⁤dinars per 100 dollars.

In Erbil, the​ dollar remained stable, with the selling price at 151,900 dinars per 100 dollars and the buying price at 151,800‍ dinars per 100 dollars.
