BOLZANO. On November 30th Dolomiti Superski will start its 50th season. In fact, the ski lifts in the ski areas of Cortina d’Ampezzo, Plan de Corones, 3 Cime Dolomites, Val di Fiemme-Obereggen, Alpe Lusia-San Pellegrino and Civetta while the opening of the central valleys, including the Sellaronda, is scheduled for December 5, 2024.

By December 7, all 12 ski areas in the Dolomites will be operational, depending on weather and snow conditions.

In total, investments have been made for the 2024-25 winter season over 95 million euros in the modernization of the facilities and snowmaking.

It was November 14, 1974 when the six representatives of the already existing cableway consortia of the areas of Cortina d’Ampezzo, Plan de Corones, Alta Badia, Val Gardena-Alpe di Siusi, Val di Fassa-Carezza and Arabba signed the official act that sanctioned the birth of the then “Associazione Superski Dolomiti” in front of a notary in Brunico. Today the consortium of cableway companies is 130.

The Superski Family solution is back for its fiftieth anniversary, the season ticket for family groups, which allows you to ski for a predefined number of days throughout the season, which can be used flexibly according to your needs, within the registered family group. This solution will be on pre-sale with a 20% discount like last year, during the pre-sale period in November 2024.

Starting from the 2024-25 winter season, the “Junior” discount of 30% on the price of daily and multi-day ski passes will be extended to all minors under 18 – until now it was reserved for minors under 16. “We wanted to make this lasting choice to involve the new generations even more, to get them passionate about skiing from a young age and to build loyalty among our future customers”, explains Andy Varallo, president of Dolomiti Superski.
