This Thursday, April 4, the first Bolivarian Youth Games are taking place in the town of Sucre (Bolivia).
On the first day of competitions, Ecuador already added its first medal through weightlifter Doménica Endara, who won a bronze medal in the 40 kg women’s category.
Endara raised a total of 108 kg (48 kg boot/60 kg clean and jerk), in a competition that was won by the Venezuelan Roimary Brito (122 kg).
The Bolivarian Youth Games will take place from April 4 to 14 with the participation of all nations that are part of the Bolivarian Sports Organization. Ecuador hosts this multi-sports event with 101 athletes in 19 sports disciplines.
