Menini and Israel
Domenico Mennini’s connection with Israel was created when he came to the Israeli Opera to sing in the opera Nabucco by Verdi in the role of Ishmael (for which he was well-reviewed by the Israeli opera critics) (where he also met his future wife, Ruthi, who worked in the production as a stage manager).

Masterclass for classical singers

Haifa City Center Theater
The first professional fringe theater in Haifa was founded in 1996 by Yigal Amitai. After years of wandering on different stages in Haifa and abroad, including performing at festivals in Italy and Poland, Yigal and Tamara (the house playwright) together with their son Danny (musician, actor, singer, decorator, illustrator) decided to build their own house stage. About three years ago, they rented two shops at 36 Masada Street in Haifa, connected them, and created a small and magical theater for about 25 spectators, where they present their plays, and host guest artists.
