Jeddah: The Ministry of Hajj and Umrah has announced that domestic Hajj pilgrims should pay the second installment fee by January 29 (7th Sunday of Rajab). Those who booked Hajj this year and paid the first installment have to pay 40 percent of the second installment now.
Citizens and residents have to pay the fee in three installments within the specified dates to ensure booking and issuance of Hajj permit. Otherwise the booking will be canceled and a separate invoice will be issued for each fee payment.
For the first time in the history of domestic pilgrimage, the ministry has started the facility of paying the fee through two methods this year. One method is to pay the fee in full and issue an invoice within 72 hours after booking and receiving a confirmation message. Then the booking status will be ‘confirmed’.
The second method is the facility of paying the fee in three installments. According to this, after booking through the online link and receiving the message that the seat is confirmed, the first installment of 20 percent of the total amount must be paid within 72 hours. 40 percent of the second installment should be paid before January 29. 40 percent of the third installment must be paid by May 1 this year (before 10:00 p.m.).
The Ministry of Hajj Umrah had informed that the booking will be in the status of ‘confirmed’ only if the fee is paid on the specified dates.
