A serious incident of domestic violence took place in a village in West Lesvos, where a 40-year-old firefighter hit his wife badly in the face in the car in Skala Polichnitou.
Yesterday the woman went to the Mytilini Hospital where the doctors examined her and then to her parents’ house.

This man, the father of a young child, has already been involved with the police and his service in similar incidents, twice with his current wife (she is his third wife) and once with his first wife, as reported by ERT .
Against the 40-year-old who is wanted by the police, a decision by the Disciplinary Council of the Fire Department is pending, to which he appeared to testify on August 9.
According to information from the same source, an incident of violence against his first-degree relatives has been recorded and he is addicted to alcohol.
