Former United States President Donald Trump said in an interview earlier today (Thursday) that he would consider supporting former Prime Minister Netanyahu in the upcoming Knesset elections.
In an interview with Newsmax, the former president said: “I was disappointed with him (Netanyahu ZB) in some ways, but overall I liked him very much.”
He added in an interview: “If he runs I will definitely think about it, see what happens, I do not know that is what is going to happen, he will disappoint me in some ways, but he did a very good job in other ways.”
According to past reports in the United States and Israel, former US President Trump is very angry with former Prime Minister Netanyahu, after the latter was one of the first leaders in the world to call to congratulate President-elect Joe Biden – despite his close ties to the previous president.
