Around 1:30 p.m. local time, Trump arrived at the heavily secured courthouse, in front of which demonstrators from both camps faced each other. After the identification process, we went to the courtroom, where the indictment was read out. The 16-page statement of claim is also available as a PDF document.

Trump has been charged with 34 counts of first-degree falsification of business records, carrying a maximum four-year prison sentence in New York State per count. New York Attorney Alvin Bragg (49) stated in a statement shared on Twitter: “We allege that Donald Trump and his associates repeatedly and fraudulently falsified business records in New York to hide harmful information and illegal activities from American voters.”

According to information from “CNN”, the next date for a personal hearing is scheduled for December 4th in New York. Trump attorney Todd Blanche told press outside the court that his client was “frustrated” and “upset”. Trump is expected to return straight from court to his Mar-a-Lago estate in Florida. The 76-year-old is said to appear in front of the press later that day.
