Donald Trump Secures Republican Nomination as Granddaughter Shares Personal Stories at Milwaukee Rally

by time news

Donald Trump became the official presidential candidate for the Republican Party this week. At the party’s convention the nomination was confirmed, and Trump also presented his vice-presidential candidate, J.D. Vance.

Additionally, there were plenty of speakers who praised the presidential candidate, including Trump’s 17-year-old granddaughter, Kai Trump.

– I am here to share the side of my grandfather that the public often does not see, she opened her speech with.

She shared memories of her grandfather in front of thousands of attendees in Milwaukee and talked about the shock she felt when she heard that he had been shot at over the weekend.

– I just wanted to know that he was okay, and it is heartbreaking that a person can do something like this to another person, she said.

When Donald Trump was president from 2017 to 2021, several family members were deeply involved in his administration. His daughter Ivanka Trump and her husband Jared Kushner both served as senior advisors to the president.

However, the younger family members have been more shielded from media attention. His youngest son, Barron Trump (18), has been in the spotlight very little. Kai Trump is the oldest of the ten grandchildren of the presidential candidate.
