Thomas Matthew Crooks of Bethel Park, Pennsylvania fired several bullets from a high place on the roof of a plant about 130 yards away from Trump’s stage.
According to a CNN reporter, the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) has started investigating the attack on Donald Trump and has identified the attacker. The attacker is 20 years old and hails from Pennsylvania, where the rally was taking place. According to a statement from the Secret Service, the attacker was killed on the spot in retaliatory action. Apart from the attacker, one person has also died in the firing incident and two other spectators have been injured.

Donald Trump said after the attack, “I heard a wheezing sound and immediately realized that it was tearing the skin. There was a lot of bleeding, then I realized that I have been shot in the chest.” Donald Trump has thanked the agencies for their quick action after the shooting.
