Donald Trump’s plane made an emergency landing in New Orleans

U.S. media reported tonight (Wednesday) that former President Donald Trump’s plane made an emergency landing last Saturday night after the president returned from a speech he delivered at a donor conference for the Republican National Convention (RNC) in New Orleans.

The plane was reportedly in the air for 20 to 30 minutes before one of the engines failed and the pilot of the private jet decided to turn around and return to the airport in New Orleans.

The plane was on its way to Palm Beach, Florida, where Trump lives on his estate in Mar-a-Lago. The plane belonged to a donor who lent it to Trump that evening.

After the Dassault Falcon 900 landed safely, the former president moved to another plane and Trump eventually landed in Palm Beach around 3 a.m. Sunday morning.

A spokesman for President Trump declined to comment on the incident.

A report on the Politico website stated that “Trump delivered a crazy 90-minute speech to donors on Saturday at the Four Seasons Hotel in New Orleans, where he spoke on a variety of topics. According to the recording of the speech, he jokingly suggested to the US “bomb the shit out of Russia” with planes carrying the Chinese flag. He also called one of his enemies in Congress, Democratic Representative Adam Schiff of California, a “watermelon head” and called another critic, attorney George Conway, a “son of a bitch.” Trump also said he was “examining very, very deeply” the possibility of a 2024 presidential comeback.
