Chennimalai: A couple who donated land worth 25 lakh rupees to build an overhead tank in Chennimalai Union is receiving praise from the people.
Mukasippidariyur Panchayat under Chennimalai Union of Erode District is one of the largest panchayats in Tamil Nadu. In total, more than 4,500 people live there. But there is no overhead tank to supply drinking water to the people. There is no land of its own to set it up. As a result, the problem of drinking water in Panj has not ended.
In this case, a special meeting was organized to set up an overhead tank. In this, on behalf of the people, they decided to buy a place. Accordingly a location was selected and an amount was fixed for the house.
In this case, the Murugesh-Tamilarasi couple, who are running a grocery store on the third road of Kumarapuri under Panj, said that they would give their own land for the construction of an overhead tank. Within two days, Panj. wrote the donation and handed over the deed to the chairman of the forum Nagaraj, vice-chairman Satish, and member Ms. Pandevel.
The present value of the donated land is Rs 25 lakhs. The people of Pune are praising the couple who donated the land.
