Press release from the youth facility Schloss Stutensee | Oct 17, 2023 8:30 p.m. | No comments

A pump track, an off-road route for bicycles, has recently been added to the grounds of the Schloss Stutensee youth facility. The facility was dependent on donations for implementation. The VEMA insurance broker cooperative supported the project with 2,500 euros and delivered the check a few days ago.

On Monday, October 9th, 2023, executive assistant Carole Rauscher and team leader Swen Handke from the VEMA insurance broker cooperative presented their donation check to the managing director of the Schloss Stutensee youth facility, Jens Brandt. This money was used in early summer to reactivate the pump track on the youth facility grounds. In order to give the children and young people more joy and to meet them on site, VEMA organized an ice cream truck to hand over the donation check.

“The new bike park with the pump track, the tables for jumping and the small mountain bike course is very well received by our children,” says Jens Brandt. “So that the new route can be used safely, a pump track group was set up in which the children and young people are properly instructed. Without the support of VEMA this would never have been possible.”

“This is real sport. I am sure that the children and young people can let off steam here and it will help them to gain self-confidence,” says executive assistant Rauscher.
