Heinz Hoenig’s family’s appeal for donations has already been criticized several times. Now his wife Annika Kärsten-Hoenig is facing accusations again.
On her Instagram channel, Kärsten-Hoenig regularly keeps her followers up to date on how much money has already been collected. But the 39-year-old does not only receive support from her community: Some users believe that the donations are not only being used for Heinz Hoenig’s medical care.
In addition to her two children with the TV star, Annika Kärsten-Hoenig also has a daughter from a previous relationship – who just celebrated her 18th birthday. She was given a car as a gift for this special occasion. Some followers believe that the car was financed by donations for Heinz Hoenig.
A claim that Annika Kärsten-Hoenig does not want to leave standing: “Joanne has owned this car since May last year because she already got her driver’s license at the age of 17. And this car that is parked there in the yard, a used car by the way, is something my grandparents and I saved up for for 17 years,” she explains in her Instagram story.
This is not the only criticism that Annika Kärsten-Hoenig is currently facing. Some users also complain that the 39-year-old rarely shares information about her husband’s health. Heinz Hoenig’s partner also rejects this accusation: “I don’t know who I am accountable to. I think everyone who donated to Heinz did so willingly and not to get information. And those who demand regular updates are the people who don’t really care about how Heinz is doing.”
Heinz Hoenig is currently waiting for a second life-saving operation. After an emergency operation and an operation on his esophagus, he absolutely needs an operation on his aorta. However, due to his state of health, this is not yet possible.
