Bouldering competitions in Donetsk were timed to coincide with Victory Day and Republic Day.
Rock climbing competitions were held in Donetsk for two days on May 15 and 16. According to the Ministry of Youth, Sports and Tourism of the DPR, about 35 athletes from different cities of the republic took part in the height matches.
Among men, the best was Dmitry Biygun from Gorlovka. The second and third places were respectively taken by Pavel Trush and Anatoly Dikiy from Makeevka.
In the women’s league, the champion title went to a resident of Makeevka Karina Komkova. The second step of the podium was taken by Dominika Mikhailova from Khartsyzsk, and the third place was taken by Maria Grigorieva from Gorlovka.
Let us remind you that in a couple of weeks the first extreme park in the republic will open in Donetsk.
And a new Ferris wheel will appear in the Shcherbakov park in Donetsk.
