New Delhi: Congress leader Rahul Gandhi said he would not hesitate to meet his brother and BJP leader Varun Gandhi or give him a loving hug. Rahul also added that he disagrees with the political ideology followed by Varun Gandhi. He said that he would rather die than work with the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS).
“Varun is a BJP activist. If he comes to Bharat Jodo Yatra, sometimes it may cause him trouble. My idea does not go with his idea. I can never go to RSS. Before that, I have to behead myself. My family has an idea, a way of thinking. Varun is still following the political idea he once chose. He is immersed in that idea. .But I cannot accept that idea”, said Rahul.
Varun Gandhi is ten years younger than Rahul. Varun has also served as the youngest General Secretary of the BJP. There were reports that Varun might quit the BJP before the next general elections. However, political observers are of the opinion that he may not join the Congress.
