For once, the C8 show “Touche pas à mon poste”, accustomed to controversies, once again made headlines this Wednesday evening. But this time, not for the substance or the form of its debates and guests. The talk show presented by Cyril Hanouna experienced “a technical problem” for more than 25 minutes, from 7:45 p.m., wrote the production to Le Parisien, this Wednesday evening.
At the end of a page of advertising, the channel experienced an interruption of its flagship program. On the screens of the million viewers, a video promoting the channel’s programs (There is only the truth that counts, French audiovisual police or even… TPMP) was then broadcast on a loop. With a banner always displaying the same message: “We apologize for this interruption. The rest of our programs in a few moments.”
A problem that seemed to last forever for fans of Cyril Hanouna and his gang of columnists. On social networks, hundreds of messages commented on this interruption of programs. “We’re stuck in the bug loop,” laments Niko on X, formerly Twitter. “It’s a great evening!” published Cyril Hanouna at the start of his live broadcast. Since then the C8 signal has been broken and even the looping video bugs regularly. Viewers are waiting for news to understand what is happening,” summarizes Antho on the same social network.
An exceptionally not live broadcast
“The darlings #TPMP is back on C8 ! Sorry for this little technical problem! », then published Touche pas à mon poste on his X account. “On resumption, no explanation from Hanouna while #tpmp is supposed to be live,” complains another Internet user. Indeed, the evening show was not live due to the bonus of the Hanouna band “special year 1990” which followed and it was live. Thus, when the show resumed, which was therefore delayed, Cyril Hanouna did not speak to discuss this technical problem.

The most informed viewers also noticed that the small banner at the top of the screen, under the channel logo, “live” had been replaced by “unpublished”. This is not the first bug for TPMP since a black screen was displayed, for much less time, on October 26. The longest program interruption was in March 2022, when the channel was forced to offer rebroadcasts for almost an hour. Cyril Hanouna’s show will be on hiatus for the next two weeks due to vacation.
