Coach Dorival Júnior gave a press conference this Saturday (27), at Morumbi, and evaluated the victory of Tricolor over Goiás by 2-1 in a duel valid for the eighth round of the Brazilian Championship.
“The players are running until the last moment, the delivery is impressive and that’s what satisfies me. It’s pleasurable. Even with a few work sessions, we have an organized and conscientious team, looking at all times”, said the coach, who completed.
“The athletes who are coming from the bench are also decisive and fundamental. This is priceless. Everyone is prepared and eager to be in there and have their moment. This has made the difference, we are deciding many games with players coming from abroad ”, he opined.
With the result, the team maintains 100% success in Morumbi, after victories against América-MG, Internacional, Vasco and Goiás. São Paulo provisionally jumped to the 3rd position of the table, with 15 points.
“It was a fundamental result, of recovery, the athletes are believing again in everything that has been requested. Even in a difficult week for all of us, with the trip to and from the duel with Puerto Cabello, in Venezuela, the games in Recife (with Sport) and Fortaleza”, said the commander, who added.
“What the team delivered in terms of heart and life, always looking for the result, not losing in organization, is commendable and I have to praise this work. We feel that the players, believing, are starting to realize that they can have a path to search for better things ”, he concluded.
