The GNR arrested two men suspected of embezzling pallets and boxes used as product containers, damaging several companies in the Greater Lisbon area by half a million euros, it was announced today.
An official GNR source explained to the Lusa agency that the two men “were professionally linked” to these companies and took advantage of this relationship to plan “a scheme” of “diversion and sale of containers (pallets and boxes)” from multinational companies in the area. retail, with the help of other employees.
For a year, they “illegitimately appropriated” these materials, damaging several companies by “approximately half a million euros”.
