‘Double Mohanan’ waiting for ‘Kotta Madhu’ to release; Making video of Wilayat Buddha
Vilayat Buddha is a new film starring Prithviraj Sukumaran in the lead role. G.R. The film is based on Indu Gopan’s novel Vilayat Buddha.
Prithviraj has released the making video of the film. He has posted a one-minute long video for his fans on social media. Prithviraj informed that the shooting of the film is in progress.
The actor will play the role of Double Mohanan in the film. Shammi Thilakan is also seen in the video along with Prithviraj. The film is directed by Jayan Nambiar.
Vilayat Buddha was the film that late director Sachi wanted to direct. Then Jayan Nambiar came to the cinema. Jayan Nambiar is the person who worked as Sachi’s co-director.
The story of the film is told in the backdrop of the sandalwood groves of Marayur. The screenplay of the film is written by GR Indugopan and Rajesh Pinnadan.
The production is by Sandeep Senan, the producer of films such as Thondimuthalum Driksakshi, Saatya Sahi Vimhomo, Saudi Vellakka, etc. under the banner of Urvashi Theatres. Arvind Kashyap, who has handled the camera for Kantara, 777 Charlie and Bell Bottom, is handling the cinematography of the film.
Directed by Shaji Kailas, Kappa, which is currently in theatres, is an adaptation of Indu Gopan’s story Shankhumukhi. Indu Gopan wrote the screenplay of the film.
