“Double the number of practitioners”: with the Olympics, Paris wants to encourage the reception of disabled athletes in clubs

It’s a first. Two years before the Olympic Games, Paris and the French National Olympic and Sports Committee (CNOSF) are organizing this Saturday, October 8, Place de la Bastille, a Paralympic day. “Parisians will be able to meet their Paralympic champions and learn about disabled sport in a festive atmosphere,” rejoices the mayor of Paris, Anne Hidalgo (PS).
