The Second Deputy Speaker of the House of Representatives, Misbah Douma, met in his office at the headquarters of the House of Representatives, today, Monday, with the Chairman of the Justice and National Reconciliation Committee of the House of Representatives, Mawloud Abu Al-Qasim Al-Aswad.
The meeting discussed the progress of the committee’s work and the latest developments in the national reconciliation project. The Chairman of the Justice and National Reconciliation Committee also provided a briefing to the Second Deputy Speaker of the House of Representatives about the workshop that was held in the State of Tunisia during the last period regarding the draft national reconciliation law that was held with the participation of the United Nations mission. For support in Libya and a number of Libyan experts, noting that the results of the workshop were positive.”
Douma also met with the Minister of Labor and Rehabilitation in the government-designate, Abdullah Al-Sharif, in his capacity as Chairman of the Emergency Committee formed by the decision of the Council of Ministers of the Libyan government, where the Minister handed the Second Deputy Speaker of the House of Representatives a copy of the report of the Emergency and Rapid Response Committee in the Southern Region.
In a separate context, “The Engineering Professions Syndicate, Sebha Branch, honored the Chairman of the Housing and Utilities Committee in the House of Representatives, Saad Abdul Qadir Al-Badri, by granting him a certificate of thanks and appreciation, which was presented to him by the Vice Chairman of the Committee, Muhammad Al-Hadi Al-Hudayri, in appreciation of the efforts of the Chairman of the Housing and Utilities Committee and his effective participation in the International Professional Engineering Conference that was held.
