RPA Perindo emphasizes its alignment with women and children.

BLITAR – Chairperson of Volunteers for the Protection of Women and Children (RPA) Perindo Party Jeannie Latumahina went down to Blitar Regency, East Java.

In front of residents and cadres of Tembalang Village, Wlingi District, Jeannie socialized how the Perindo Party has partiality for women and children.

“As expected by General Chairperson Pak Hary Tanoesoedibjo, the RPA as a wing of the party must go down to the grassroots,” said Jeannie Friday (16/6/2023) evening.

Jeannie Latumahina is the Legislator of the DPR RI Perindo Party from Dapil VI (Blitar, Tulungagung and Kediri).

Perindo’s RPA was only formed at the end of 2022. However, according to Jeannie, until now it already has branches in 33 provinces.

Advocacy for victims has succeeded in attracting at least 19 perpetrators. “19 pedophiles have been jailed,” said Jeannie.

In Kediri, continued Jeannie, RPA Perindo has advocated for five cases of sexual violence that occurred to children.

The perpetrators have been jailed with sentences of over 10 years in prison. Violators will also be fined.

“In Tulungagung, RPA Perindo also advocates for cases of sexual violence against children. Currently it is in the trial process,” he explained.
