Amidst a catastrophic humanitarian situation, the Israeli army continues its war in the Gaza Strip, for the 300th day, targeting residential neighborhoods, displaced persons’ gatherings and streets, and causing dozens of deaths and injuries.

Palestinian media reported that “two Palestinians were killed and several others were injured when the occupation forces bombed a group of Palestinians south of Gaza City. Eight Palestinians were killed and others were injured after the occupation forces bombed a vehicle near the entrance to the Maghazi camp in the central Gaza Strip. At least one Palestinian was killed and others were injured in three Israeli airstrikes that targeted a house north of the Nuseirat camp in the central Gaza Strip. The Ministry of Health in the Gaza Strip announced that “the Israeli army killed 35 Palestinians and injured 55 others during the past 24 hours.”

The Israeli air force also fired at several locations west of Rafah city in the southern Gaza Strip, and fired bullets towards the eastern areas of the Maghazi camp in the central Gaza Strip, resulting in Palestinian deaths and injuries.

The number of people killed in the Israeli war on the Gaza Strip since October 7 has risen to more than 39,445, most of whom are children and women, and 91,073 others have been injured, while thousands of victims are still under the rubble and on the roads, and ambulance and civil defense crews cannot reach them.

In a related context, the Israeli army confirmed the killing of Mohammed Deif, the leader of the military wing of Hamas in the Gaza Strip.

On July 13, the Israeli army announced that “Al-Dhaif and Rafeh Salama, commander of the Khan Yunis Brigade, were the target of an airstrike on Khan Yunis that killed and injured hundreds,” while Hamas denied “the Israeli army’s claims regarding the killing of Al-Dhaif.”
