Dozens of Palestinians injured in Israeli attacks in occupied Al-Quds
Occupied Al-Quds – Dozens of Palestinians were injured on Saturday night following attacks carried out by Israeli forces in different areas of the occupied Palestinian territories.
According to local sources, several Palestinians were injured during clashes with occupation forces around Al-Aqsa Mosque.
“The Israeli occupation forces attacked them as they were leaving Al-Aqsa Mosque after celebrating Laylat al-Qadr near Bab al-Asbat,” it said.
Around 100,000 worshipers celebrated Laylat al-Qadr in Al-Aqsa Mosque despite attempts by Israeli occupation forces to prevent them.
The Palestinian Red Crescent said, for its part, that at least 50 Palestinians were injured in clashes at the Al-Aqsa Mosque esplanade and its surroundings.
Citing the Palestinian news agency Wafa, the organization said its teams evacuated one of the injured to hospital after he was hit by a rubber-coated metal bullet, while the others were treated on site.
