A long convoy of Russian vehicles was observed making its way to Kyiv, the American satellite company MAXAR updated last night (Tuesday). According to the company, the length of the caravan is 64 km, while yesterday it was 27 km. The convoy, according to the company, is less than 50 km from the capital Kyiv.
According to the company, the convoy numbers hundreds of Russian military vehicles, whose destination is not yet known – whether to join Russian forces inside Kyiv or join other Russian forces to besiege the city.
More than 70 Ukrainian soldiers were killed last night (Monday) in a Russian shelling of a military base in the town of Oktyarka in the Sumy region of northeastern Ukraine, the region’s governor Dmitry Zhibitsky said on Facebook.
