jpnn.com – Member of Commission IX DPR-RI Kurniasih Mufidayati said that parliament was never involved from the start when the government was drafting 15 Draft Ministry of Health Regulations (RPMK).

It is known that the RPMK is a derivative of Government Regulation (PP) Number 28 of 2024 concerning Health.

Mufida said that the DPR, on the other hand, was the party involved in discussing the Health Law, the initial regulations of PP Number 28 of 2024.

He said this when he was a guest speaker at the Reflection on the Implementation of PP 28 of 2024 concerning Health held by the Indonesian Public Policy Forum (FKPI) in Jakarta, Wednesday (18/12).

“Unfortunately, we were not involved by the Ministry of Health when drafting the PP and now there is a fuss at the RPMK,” said the PKS faction legislator.

He said that recently the government had only involved parliament to discuss the RPMK when it contained reproductive regulations.

“In early January, after the recess, we will focus on tobacco articles,” he said.

Mufida emphasized that parties who are not satisfied with the preparation of the RPMK and the making of PP Number 28 of 2024 can submit a public discussion so that the Ministry of Health can hear their aspirations.

Member of Commission IX DPR RI Kurniasih Mufidayati reminded the Ministry of Health to listen a lot when drafting regulations. This is what it means.
