Appointment of PPPK 2024 from Honorary through a Test
On Tuesday, August 6, 2024, Commission II of the Indonesian House of Representatives revealed the mechanism for appointing PPPK 2024 from honorary staff through tests, in accordance with an agreement with the Minister of State Apparatus Empowerment and Bureaucratic Reform (MenPAN-RB). According to Mardani Ali Sera, a member of Commission II, the test is part of the selection process outlined in Law Number 20 of 2024, which requires both administrative and competency assessments for CPNS and PPPK appointments.
The agreement between Commission II and MenPAN-RB covers the appointment of all 1.7 million honorary workers included in the State Civil Service Agency (BKN) data collection as PPPK. The appointments will be made in stages until 2026.
Mardani emphasized that the 1.7 million honorary workers must register for the 2024 PPPK selection process.
