WHILE, Waspada.co.id – The North Sumatra (Sumut) Regional Executive Board of the Indonesian Native Entrepreneurs Association (Asprindo) will hold a Regional Conference (Muswil), combined with a public dialogue.
The DPW Asprindo North Sumatra activity is planned to be held at the Raja Inal Siregar Hall, North Sumatra Governor’s Office, Medan City, Saturday, August 7, 2024. Which will also be attended directly by the Acting Governor of North Sumatra, Agus Fatoni.
The Public Dialogue to be held by DPW Asprindo North Sumatra Building the Future of North Sumatra, with the theme ‘Opportunities and challenges in the business world, tourism, food, and strengthening of North Sumatra MSMEs in the Digitalization Era’.
This public dialogue will present speakers such as the Chancellor of the University of North Sumatra (USU), Prof. Muryanto Amin, Head of the Department of Culture, Tourism and Creative Economy of North Sumatra Province, Zumri Sulthony.
Then, the Head of the Industry, Trade, Energy, and Mineral Resources Service of North Sumatra, Mulyadi Simatupang and the Head of the Cooperatives and UMKM Service of North Sumatra, Naslindo Sirait and the President of INAMPA, P Herman Harianja.
The Chairperson of the North Sumatra DPW Asprindo Muswil Committee, Fitri Hafsari Novi Yanti, said that this event would be attended by around 300 participants and all administrators of the North Sumatra DPW Asprindo.
“One of our activities is public dialogue, building the future of North Sumatra which may be opened by the Acting Governor of North Sumatra. In addition, we will hold a Muswil. After that, public dialogue and in the Muswil will elect a new chairman,” Fitri explained to reporters, in Medan City, Monday (2/9).
Fitri said that this activity aims to build MSMEs in North Sumatra and also develop the name of Asprindo among the people of North Sumatra so that it is better known to people.
“In addition, this event also synergizes with the North Sumatra Provincial Government to boost the economy in North Sumatra,” said Fitri.
Meanwhile, the Chairman of the North Sumatra DPW Asprindo, Rafriandi Nasution, revealed that in this activity, he also invited the North Sumatra Governor Candidates, namely Edy Rahmayadi and Bobby Nasution to appear to explain their vision and mission for developing North Sumatra for the next five years.
“We have sent the invitation to Mr. Edy and Mr. Bobby Nasution. On September 5, 2024, we will receive their confirmation whether they will attend or not,” explained Rafriandi.
Rafriandi invited the two candidates for Governor of North Sumatra to listen to their presentation of their vision and mission, which are compiled in the Regional Medium-Term Development Plan (RPJMD) focused on the development of the MSME, Tourism, and food sectors in North Sumatra.
“Every North Sumatra Governor Candidate, RPJMD, we focus on MSMEs, Tourism, food, as well as the election of new regional management,” said Rafriandi.
Rafriandi emphasized that by attending the two North Sumatra gubernatorial candidates, Asprindo was not engaging in practical politics, but was encouraging Edy Rahmayadi and Bobby Nasution, if elected, to drive economic growth in North Sumatra.
“After Registration, as conveying the vision and mission. Not wanting to be political, only diverting the vision and mission. Hopefully this event is a success,” he concluded. (wol/man/d2)
