On Thursday (August 29) afternoon, they went to the Chief Adviser’s office at the Rashtriya Athish Bhawan Yamuna on Hare Road in the capital.
Shamsuddin Didar, a member of BNP Chairperson’s media wing, said that Salauddin Ahmed and Amir Khosru Mahmud Chowdhury, members of the standing committee headed by the BNP secretary general, are expected to attend the meeting.
BNP is asking the interim government to give ‘reasonable’ time to repair the state. In this regard, BNP Secretary General Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir said in a press conference on Wednesday, that is why discussion is necessary. The concept of reasonable time will depend on mutual negotiation. What we want, what they want, what the people want, there has to be a discussion. That is why I have said that there is a need for a quick discussion between the political parties with the current government. I said it very strongly, I am saying it today. Otherwise misunderstandings are created.
