The CES has a new rector. After a session on September 30, the Founders Chamber of this university, whose headquarters are located in our commune 14 – El Poblado, appointed Dr. Claudia Helena Arenas Pajón as the new rector, who had been working as manager of the General Hospital of Medellín, six months ago.

He says in a letter sent by CES University to the media that this appointment represents an important milestone for the institution, “and we are sure that, under his leadership, we will continue to move forward with the commitment and excellence that characterize us.”
Arenas Pajón is, precisely, a doctor who graduated from the CES University. Also, he is a specialist in IPS Management from the same university institution; He is also a specialist in Medical Education from the Universidad de la Sabana, and has a Master’s Degree in Health Administration awarded by the CES University in agreement with the Universidad del Rosario.
“Dr. Claudia has the support of the highest levels of the University, such as the Founders Chamber and the Superior Council of the institution, as well as the entire university community. “We are convinced that it will continue to promote the growth and transformation of the CES University, guided by our institutional principles and values,”

For now, the day of legal possession of his position has not been reported.
It should be noted that, at the moment, the rectoral commission is the one who appears as the head of the traditional CES University, since Manuel Acevedo left his position on August 9.
