jpnn.comSEMARANG – The practice of the Dean of the Faculty of Medicine, Diponegoro University (FK Undip), Yan Wisnu Prajoko at the Dr Kariadi Central General Hospital (RSUP) has been temporarily suspended.
The suspension was carried out by the hospital management to avoid any conflict of interest. The temporary suspension was attached to a letter signed by the President Director of Dr Kariadi General Hospital Agus Akhmadi on August 28, 2024.
This was done following the alleged bullying case in the PPDS Anesthesiology and Intensive Therapy Study Program by the Ministry of Health (Kemenkes) as of August 14, 2024.
“It is hereby conveyed that your clinical activities are temporarily suspended to avoid conflicts of interest until the process of handling the case is completed,” the letter wrote.
Public Relations Staff of Dr Kariadi Semarang General Hospital Aditya Kandu Warendra said that the Ministry of Health and the Ministry of Education, Culture, Research and Technology (Kemendikbudristek) are still investigating the alleged bullying behind the death of Aulia Risma Lestari, a PPDS Undip student.
Aditya said that the issuance of the letter of temporary suspension of clinical activities was to avoid a conflict of interest because the Dean of the Faculty of Medicine, Undip, Yan Wisnu, is also the Doctor in Charge of Services (DPJP) at Dr. Kariadi General Hospital.
“So the DPJP status at Dr Kariadi General Hospital has been temporarily deactivated until there is clarity and answers regarding the case,” said Aditya, Saturday (31/8).
Separately, Head of the Communication and Public Service Bureau, Siti Nadia Tarmizi, said that Dr Kariadi General Hospital did not have the authority to dismiss Yan Wisnu from his position.
The clinical activities or practice of the Dean of the Faculty of Medicine, Undip, Yan Wisnu at Dr Kariadi General Hospital have been temporarily suspended, following allegations of bullying.
