Dr. Soundararajan has been appointed as the South Indian President of the Indian Society of Nephrology (ISN).
He has been serving in the field of urology for more than 40 years and has held various senior responsibilities in the medical field.
It is noteworthy that Soundararajan, who served as the head of urology department at Borur Ramachandra Medical Center and senior medical specialist in many leading hospitals including Apollo, was the first doctor to perform kidney transplant on an HIV patient.
He has been appointed as the new President of the Indian Society of Urology (South) for the year 2023-24 and will hold the position for the next two years.
It is noteworthy that Iva is the husband of Tamilisai Soundararajan, who is the Governor of Telangana and Deputy Governor of Puducherry.
