Nobel Peace Prize winning economist Professor Dr. President of Bangladesh Jewelers Association (BAJUS) Sayem Sobhan Anveer has welcomed the process of forming a new interim government under the leadership of Muhammad Yunus.
Bangladesh Jewelers Association (BAJUS) said this in a statement on Wednesday (August 7).
Bajus President said, Bangladesh Jewelers Association (Bajus), a responsible traditional organization of 40 thousand jeweler families and about 2.5 million people involved in it, will give maximum support to the interim government. The army will play an important role to bring law and order and provide security to all industries and businesses including jewelery establishments across the country.
Bangladesh Jewelers Association (BAJUS) expressed its condolences to the bereaved families of the students and citizens who were killed in the recent agitation. Bajus urged the authorities to take effective measures for the treatment of seriously injured including proper investigation of every casualty incident and provision of short and long term compensation for the affected families.
