Those who pre-ordered the various special editions of “Dragon Ball: Sparking! While Bandai Namco Games is celebrating early access with the opening and demo for the fighting title, players are already complaining about the difficulty of the single player mode.
Effective immediately, all purchasers of the Deluxe and Ultimate editions will have access to the fighting title, which will be officially released on Friday “Dragon Ball: Sparking! Zero“.

Early starters complain about the difficulty level
While the basic feedback from players in the first few hours after the pre-launch has been mostly positive, one point from “Dragon Ball: Sparking! zero” for criticism. We are talking about the level of difficulty in single-player mode, which, according to players, can always lead to unpleasant frustration.
These are those who are affected highlighting different struggles. This includes the confrontation with “Great Ape Vegeta”, which, according to users, raises the question of whether the difficulty level was adequately tested even in the internal playtests.
The players’ conclusions about individual missions or fights in the single player mode range from “much too difficult” to “almost impossible”. For example, one of the frustrated users notes: “The Great Ape Vegeta can be happy. I don’t understand how you can beat him on normal difficulty.”
Another said he “gave up and ended Gohan’s story instead.”
Other battles with negative emphasis in this context are the fights with the Ginyu Sonderkommando or Raditz.
The Budokai Tenkaichi series returns
Bandai Namco Games has yet to comment on player feedback regarding the difficulty level of the single player mode. Therefore it remains to be seen whether the developers will improve this area with possible updates.
Dragon Ball: Sparking! Zero” was released on Friday, October 11, 2024 for the PC, PS5 and Xbox Series X/S and marks the return of the popular “Budokai Tenkaichi” series.
