It has been particularly quiet on Monique Westenberg’s social media in recent days. Why? She has been dealing with some major drama on vacation. “We couldn’t fly back because of this,” she says on Instagram.
Monique Westenberg enjoyed the sun, sea and beach on Curaçao during the holiday. In the first days, her followers were flooded with photos of her and son Dré, but in recent days it was suddenly quiet on her Instagram. What is going on?
‘didn’t go well’
In a video on Instagram, Monique explains that this is because she was ill. “The whole family was sick. Throwing up, heavy with diarrhoea, out on both sides. It was real drama”, says Monique. The family was even so ill that they could not fly back to the Netherlands. ,,The day we finally started flying, completely stuffed with medication so that I could stay put. We succeeded, but when we got home it was dramatic again.”
Monique thinks she has caught a virus. ,,So that’s why. I will take you with me again in the coming days with all sorts of things, but it did not go well for a while.”
