Drama in Egypt: Eleven Israeli pilots were stranded in the country

About 11 Israeli pilots with several Israeli planes got stuck in Egypt today (Wednesday). The Egyptian authorities are working to deport the Israeli pilots from their territory for reasons of “national security”. The pilots claim that they cannot leave because they are out of fuel and the weather conditions also do not allow a safe flight.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs confirmed the details and said: “Consular handling is being done both at the embassy in Cairo and at the headquarters in Jerusalem so that they can leave Egypt and return to Israel. They flew to Egypt without a visa, this is their mistake and as a result they cannot enter.”
