On Thursday of this week, the Israeli security forces arrested a senior operative of the terrorist organization ‘Gov Aryot’ in Nablus, and the Palestinians are publishing today (Friday) footage from the security cameras of the dramatic arrest.

The documentation shows how a number of men walking calmly first entered a bakery in the heart of the Kasbah, the old city of Nablus, as if they had come to make a purchase.

But inside the bakery at the time was Iyad Abdel Nasser Shabaru, a key and well-known activist in the terrorist group “Lions Den” – and the buyers were Israeli fighters, undercover.

Less than a minute from the moment the undercovers entered the mafia, an army force quickly arrives on the scene, they carry out the arrest, and after an exchange of fire with Palestinian terrorists, leave the scene and the mission was successfully completed.

Palestinian sources reported that seven Palestinians were injured and evacuated to the Rafidia hospital, including two local journalists.

In a joint statement to the IDF spokesmen, the IDF spokeswoman and the Shin Bet spokeswoman, yesterday, it was stated: “At the end of a joint operation by the Shin Bet, the IDF and the IDF, based on intelligence information from the Shin Bet, Iyad Nasser Shabaro, son of 33, a resident of Nablus, a terrorist operative in the “Lion’s Den” infrastructure and suspected of being involved in shooting attacks. During the arrest, two Carlo-type rifles and an explosive device were confiscated.”

“The wanted person was caught by the IDF soldiers in a building in the Kasbah in the city of Nablus together with four other suspects who were detained by the forces. During the operation, the forces fired at armed men who fired at them, injuries were detected. Charges were also thrown at the troops. All the forces have left the city, there are no casualties to our forces. The requested person was transferred for further investigation by the security forces.”
