We had a big drama in the NBA tonight (Monday through Tuesday) when Phoenix surrendered 114: 113 to Memphis with the buzzer. In addition, Utah continued its excellent season as it increased its winning streak to four and defeated San Antonio 104: 110, Chicago defeated Atlanta, Charlotte defeated Houston and Minnesota defeated Boston.
Phoenix (7:26) – Memphis (14:21) 114: 113
The tight and fickle game at the Footprint Center was already in the hands of the Suns, but the Grizzlies thought otherwise. The visitors still led safely at the start of the fourth quarter, 32 seconds to go Miles Bridges shrank to two points and five seconds to go Devin Booker scored a dramatic three that turned into 112: 113, but the excellent Ja Morant, who finished with 33 points, scored the winning basket with The buzzer. Desmond Bain contributed 29 points on the winning side, Boker’s 30 points did not help against the second consecutive loss of one of the strongest teams in the West.
San Antonio (19:14) – Utah (9:24) 110: 104
The Preferred Jazz came into the fourth quarter with a comfortable 12-point lead after a wonderful start and victory in each of the first three quarters. Jordan Clarkson stood out with 23 points and eight rebounds, Rudy Gober finished with 16 points and 13 rebounds. Derrick White contributed 21 points on the other side. The guest completed a seventh straight win away.
Atlanta (18:15) – Chicago (10:21) 130: 118
The Bulls continued with the excellent ability from the last few games en route to a fourth straight win. Cam Radish (33 points) and Trey Young (29 points and nine assists) stood out for the host, but it failed to close the gap. Damar Drusen finished with 35 points and ten assists, Zac Lavin contributed 30 points and nine assists and Nikola Wojciech finished with 24 points and 17 rebounds. Not a bad evening for a trio.
Charlotte (17:18) – Houston (24:10) 99: 123
A one-sided game, at the end of which the Hornets were again on a positive balance. The meeting was over after only three quarters, with the host leading by 26 points on the way to the last quarter of Garbage Time. Trey Rosier excelled with 27 points for the winner, Lamello Bull added 16 points and Kelly Ubera Jr. finished with 18 points. Travelin ‘Quinn was the Rockets’ top scorer with 17 points.
Minnesota (17:16) – Boston (18:16) 103: 108
The host can smile after two consecutive losses, the Celtics with a second loss in a row. It was in the hands of the Greens after an excellent first half, but an excellent last quarter helped the locals keep the house. Jaylen Navel contributed 29 points from the bench, Nathan Knight added 20 points and 11 rebounds. Jaylen Brown’s 26 points and ten rebounds didn’t help.
