Drastic discount: this is the price you will pay for a Tesla car in Israel

by time news

After a wave of price cuts in China – Tesla breaks the market in Israel as well. This is according to a new price list published by the manufacturer, which puts Tesla prices back six months According to a new price list published by the manufacturer, the price of a basic Tesla 3 with tax has dropped from NIS 242,000 to NIS 205,000 and the price of a Tesla 3 Long Range has dropped from NIS 289,000 with taxes to NIS 252,000

Not only in China: the electric car manufacturer ‘Tesla’ lowers prices in Israel by tens of thousands of shekels.

A new price list published by the ‘Tesla’ company sets Tesla prices back half a year, thus breaking the market in Israel as well.

As you may recall, last week it was reported that Tesla lowered the prices of its cars in China for the second time in less than three months. According to the Calcalist report, the two price reductions for the Tesla models, along with a host of incentives offered to Chinese buyers in the last three months, led to a 13-24% price drop since September.

Now it turns out that the competition does not miss Israel and that the customers in Israel are going to enjoy particularly attractive prices.

According to the price list, published in “Calcalist”, the base version of the Tesla 3 whose “dry” price for the consumer without tax was 180 thousand shekels now costs 160 thousand shekels without tax. This means that the price of a basic Tesla 3 with tax dropped overnight from NIS 242,000 to NIS 205,000. Also, the Tesla 3 Long Range, which until a few days ago cost NIS 289,000 with taxes, currently costs NIS 252,000. Tesla 3 in the highest trim level – the Performance – now costs NIS 289,000, instead of NIS 319,000.

Tesla’s discount is significant, but not unique to Israel. According to international reports, this week Tesla discounted its cars in a number of core markets such as Germany and the USA. The purpose of the discounts, which according to publications worldwide reach 17% for certain models, is to compete with the major car manufacturers who have recently introduced new electric models.
