The 30th episode of the “Drawing History” series is available on the profiles of the Federal Council for Justice (CJF) on Instagram and no YouTube. The video, released this Tuesday (16), presents a decision by the Federal Regional Court of the 5th Region (TRF5) which, according to the report of the National Institute for Colonization and Agrarian Reform (INCRA), rejected the appeal of its construction company attempt to expropriate the area where the Quilombo Pontal da Barra community was located remaining in Sergipe (SE). The ruling ensured that 153 families could fully live their traditions and culture.
Other notable stories were shown in the series: the TRF5 decision that guaranteed the right of a child to undergo surgery abroad, due to a disease that was not offered a procedure in Brazil; the head of the TRF2 who continued the criminal action against the sergeant who committed crimes in the House of Death in Petropolis during the period of the Military dictatorship; and that of the TRF3, which stated that the confiscation of the new crusaders, which took place in 1990, violated constitutional principles.

Produced by the Council’s Social Communications Office (Ascom), with the support of the Federal Regional Courts of the 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th and 5th Regions (TRFs), the series premiered on 3 April, and celebrates the anniversary 35 years of those five. TRFs. Animation is hand-drawn in style stop motion, to recite. Each video lasts 35 seconds, a number that marks the installation date of the TRFs.
New episodes are released on Tuesdays and Fridays, presenting stories that have shaped Federal Justice and society in a creative and fun way.
