Under the banner “I run according to my abilities”, this event initiated by the Royal Moroccan Federation of Sport for All (FRMSPT) in partnership with the province of Driouch, succeeded in attracting several runners from all social classes.
According to the FRMSP, the majority of students from schools, who participate in sports associations and are members of women’s associations and civil society cooperatives, took part in this race, which was contested over a distance of three kilometres on a closed circuit.
On this occasion, demonstration matches were organized by teams from sports associations, in addition to teams from residents of Dar Taliba in Driouch.
At the end of this sporting event, medals and trophies were presented to around fifteen winners in the different categories. Similarly, tribute was paid to several figures who distinguished themselves across the province.
This event is part of the “sport for all” caravan which stopped over on Friday in the province of Driouch; and saw the organization of a series of sporting activities and traditional local games, according to the organizers.
