On Monday, May 22, the driver’s education program will begin in municipal schools, there will be a presentation program. It is planned for the next school year to incorporate it into the curriculum as one more subject.
Marlon Severino, director of the Traffic Unit, pointed out that through inter-institutional cooperation this initiative will begin, for this, the Private Technical University of Loja through the road safety observatory will provide educational brochures for students and teachers.
He indicated that for next year the matter of road safety will be incorporated in all municipal establishments as a pilot plan and it is hoped to replicate it in private schools.
