Abhay Singh Rathore, Lucknow: Monsoon has become active again in UP. Friday started with rain in Lucknow. The weather has completely changed in Uttar Pradesh. The rain which had stopped till the last few days has now become completely active again. It has been raining every day at some time or the other in the capital Lucknow for the past few days. Heavy rain also occurred in the district on Thursday evening. During this time, rain has been recorded in many districts of the state. On the other hand, if the Meteorological Department is to be believed, the sequence of rain is going to continue in the state. On September 6, there is a possibility of rain along with thunder at many places in western and eastern UP. During this time, there is a possibility of heavy rain at some places in eastern UP.
According to the Meteorological Department, there is a possibility of moderate to heavy rain in Sonbhadra, Mirzapur, Chandauli and its surrounding areas. On September 7, the scope of rain will reduce somewhat. On Saturday, there is a possibility of rain only at some places in both parts of the state. Along with this, there is no possibility of heavy rain anywhere during this period.
Meteorologist Mohammad Danish said that rain has been recorded in many districts. Varanasi BHU has recorded 10.5 mm of rain while Churuk has recorded 54.4 mm of rain. Similarly, Fatehpur has recorded 10 mm, Prayagraj 6.6 mm, Fursatganj 14 mm and Basti has recorded 4 mm of rain. According to the Meteorological Department, Jhansi has received 3.4 mm of rain, Orai has received 6 mm of rain. From September 8 to September 11, there is a possibility of rain at some places in the western part of the state and some places in eastern UP. However, there is no alert of heavy rain anywhere during this period.
