In Australia, the police rounded up and arrested a gang that tried to smuggle drugs by flying a low-flying Vannam that didn’t catch on the radar.
Methamphetamine was smuggled to the nearby island nation of Papua New Guinea by small plane.
The hijackers have flown the plane very low between the mountains to avoid being caught on radar. However, police surrounded the plane when it landed at a private airport in Queensland to refuel.
Police arrested 5 persons including 2 pilots and seized 52 kg of methamphetamine worth Rs 125 crore from them.
