Delta Air Lines is being sued by a teenage girl and her mother, who claim they were sexually assaulted by a drunk passenger on a flight from New York to Athens, Greece, several media report.

According to the alleged victims, the man drank no less than 10 glasses of vodka and a glass of beer during the nine-hour flight which turned into a real nightmare for the two passengers.
The passenger allegedly frightened the 16-year-old girl by putting his hands on her back, making obscene gestures, shouting and asking her to provide her address and other personal information. The individual also allegedly told the mother that he did not care that his daughter was underage.
When she complained to the flight attendants, the mother was reportedly told to “be patient.”
The mother and daughter also reportedly repeatedly asked the plane’s staff to stop serving alcohol to the problematic passenger, but Delta Air Lines employees blatantly ignored their requests.
Instead of moving the man, a flight attendant allegedly simply asked him to stop talking to the two alleged victims. The individual would then have freaked out and called the mother and her daughter “f***ing bitches”.
At some point, the problematic passenger, who allegedly claimed to be from Connecticut, reportedly went to the restroom where he vomited loudly before returning to his seat with a glass of wine in his hand.
The teenager also allegedly had a panic attack and laid her head on her mother’s thigh, before feeling the man’s wandering fingers under her sweater and on her back, playing with the elastic of her bra and moving all over his body.
The 16-year-old girl would then have jumped from her seat, crying, then the drunk passenger would then have placed his hand on the leg of the mother, in order to prevent her from getting up from her seat too. That’s when the mother reportedly asked a flight attendant to call the police, but was told she needed to “calm down and think about all this.”
Eventually, the two alleged victims managed to switch seats and were offered 5,000 free air miles by the crew.
Flight attendants reportedly let the drunk man leave the plane after landing, without notifying authorities of the assault he allegedly committed during the flight.
