Malayalam and Tamil cinema’s popular villain Vinayakan has been arrested for drunkenness. He was arrested from Hyderabad Airport on Saturday (September 7).
According to a report in India Today, Vinayak took a flight from Kochi to Goa. He was detained at Rajiv Gandhi International Airport in Hyderabad for misbehaving with Indigo Gate staff. At that time, actor Vinayakan was intoxicated, behaving uncontrollably in public places. Later a case was filed against him.
After this incident, the CISF assigned to the security of the airport arrested Binayakan and handed him over to the local airport police. “A case has been registered and investigation is on,” said CI Balraj of the airport police station.
Vinayakan started his career as a dancer. He made his debut on the big screen in 1995 with the Malayalam language movie ‘Manthirakom’. After a long break of 6 years, he returned to the screen with the movie ‘Onaman’.
Since then he has been working regularly on screen. He has been seen in supporting roles several times. Again he gained popularity by acting as a villain. Especially in Rajinikanth starrer ‘Zellar’, Kuran Vinayak was highly praised for his performance as the villain. This actor has won accolades as well as awards for his performances in Malayalam and Tamil movies.
