Dubai: Concourse A at Terminal 3 on Terminal 3 at Dubai International Airport has opened at full capacity. All of the airport’s terminals, concourses, lounges, restaurants and other retail outlets are now fully operational, officials said in a news release Monday.
Terminal 3 at Dubai Airport alone is expected to handle more than 1.6 million passengers in the second half of December. With the end of December approaching, the airport is getting busier every day. The number of visitors to Dubai exceeded one million in October after the Kovid crisis. In November, the crucial milestone of 10 lakh visitors per week was crossed. The number of visitors has increased by 94% compared to the period before Kovid.
Paul Griffiths, CEO of Dubai Airports, said:
The best health care measures have been taken at the airport. He added that the FrosTrack Kovid PCR verification system and better customer service provide a faster return to the travel experience of Kovid than in the past by providing all the services required by passengers quickly.
