Dubai: An Indian living in Abu Dhabi, UAE has won a prize of $ 1 million (about Rs 8 crore, 29 lakh) in the Dubai Duty Free Millennium Millionaire draw. The draw took place after the Dubai Duty Free Tennis Championships Men’s Final awards ceremony on Saturday, March 2. The winning ticket was won by French No. 5 tennis player and tournament champion Ugo Humbert. He defeated Alexander Bublik in the final to win his first Dubai title.
Sunil Nayyar, a 60-year-old Indian living in Abu Dhabi, has become a millionaire with ticket 0971 in the Millennium Millionaire Series 452. He had purchased this ticket online on 21 February. Sunil has been living in Abu Dhabi for 39 years. He has been participating in Dubai Duty Free continuously for 15 years. Nayyar is a father of one child and works as a senior consultant for an insurance company.
