Dubai is now the world’s first paperless government: Save $ 350 million

DubaiCrown Prince Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum says Dubai has become the world’s first paperless government. He added that the project would save $ 350 million and 14 hours of manpower. All internal and external actions of the Dubai Government have been digitized. The aim of this project is to digitize all aspects of life.

Sheikh said it was the beginning of a new journey, rooted in innovation, creativity and focus on the future. Governments in the US, UK and Canada are all set to follow suit.

However, cyber attacks are one of the major challenges facing countries in taking such steps. Sheikh also announced plans to launch a digital life in Dubai over the next five decades.
